Email Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated August 8, 2026·Version 1.0
1. Permission-Based Sending
You may send marketing email only to recipients from whom you have valid, documented permission or another lawful basis recognized by applicable law. You may not use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, appended, or third-party lists where the recipient did not authorize the relevant communication.
You must retain enough information to demonstrate when, how, and for what purpose a recipient gave permission. You must honor the scope, channel, sender, and frequency represented when permission was obtained.
Transactional and service messages may be sent where necessary to provide a product, service, account, or transaction, but must not be disguised marketing. You remain responsible for classifying messages correctly.
2. Required Message Practices
Messages must:
- identify the sender accurately;
- use an honest subject line and message content;
- include required sender and physical-address information;
- provide a clear unsubscribe mechanism for marketing email;
- process unsubscribe requests promptly;
- avoid re-contacting suppressed recipients;
- honor recipient preferences and applicable frequency limits; and
- comply with applicable privacy, marketing, consumer-protection, sanctions, and telecommunications laws.
Samva may add unsubscribe headers, process one-click unsubscribe requests, mirror provider suppression signals, or block delivery to suppressed recipients. These controls supplement your obligations and do not make an unlawful list lawful.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use Samva to:
- send spam, phishing, malware, credential theft, or deceptive messages;
- impersonate a person, organization, domain, or service;
- promote illegal goods, unlawful financial activity, fraud, or sanctions evasion;
- distribute content that exploits or sexualizes minors;
- send threats, harassment, hate, or targeted abuse;
- facilitate trafficking, terrorism, or violent wrongdoing;
- operate a deceptive lead-generation, affiliate, or referral scheme;
- bypass provider blocks, suppression lists, quotas, rate limits, or abuse controls;
- send to addresses obtained through scraping or unauthorized enrichment;
- send content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- use the Services for payment-card data, protected health information, special-category personal data, or children’s data without separate written approval; or
- test deliverability or reputation using recipients who did not agree to receive the messages.
4. Domains and Sender Identities
You must control or be authorized to use every sending domain, address, link, logo, and identity associated with your account. You must maintain accurate DNS and authentication records and remove identities you no longer control. We may require domain verification, sender verification, or additional review.
5. Quotas, Reputation, and Automated Enforcement
Samva may enforce plan limits, daily quotas, new-account ramps, payment restrictions, and reputation controls. We may automatically throttle or pause an organization when bounce, complaint, provider, security, or other risk signals indicate that continued sending could harm recipients, infrastructure, or deliverability.
Automated enforcement may occur without advance notice. We may require remediation, identity verification, list evidence, or other information before restoring sending. We do not promise a particular appeal process, review time, or reinstatement outcome.
6. Reports and Cooperation
Report suspected abuse, compromised accounts, unlawful sending, or unauthorized use to abuse@samva.dev. We may investigate reports, preserve relevant records, share information with providers or authorities where permitted or required, and take action without disclosing confidential investigative details.
You must cooperate with reasonable compliance, security, and abuse inquiries. Failure to respond may result in restriction or termination.
7. No Inbox-Placement Guarantee
Samva does not guarantee inbox placement, delivery, sender reputation, uninterrupted provider acceptance, or any particular engagement outcome. Recipient providers may reject, defer, filter, quarantine, or classify messages independently.
