Subject
Join Halyard Labs on Plinth
Preheader
Jonas Ferreira invited you to the Halyard Labs team.
Make it fit the send.
- Supply the invitee's address, the inviter's name, email and avatar, the team's name and avatar, the join link and the expiry sentence. The inviter and the team render as avatars joined by an arrow above one join action.
- The email also states the IP address and place the invitation was sent from, and who it was meant for, so a recipient can tell a stray invitation from a real one. The link is spelled out as a fallback. Your application creates and validates the invitation.
- This one is for someone without an account: joining creates it with the invited address. Use Team invite for someone who already has an account, with a role and the team's projects.
- It is written for Plinth, a fictional platform for deploying web apps. Replace its mark, the arrow and the avatars with your own, and restyle through the theme tokens in starter.css.
Data this template expects.
- {{expiryNotice}}
- For example: “The invitation stays open for 7 days.” Match the invitation's real lifetime; the template never reads the clock.
- {{inviteFromIp}}
- The IP address the invitation was sent from. State only what your application recorded.
- {{inviteFromLocation}}
- The place the invitation was sent from, for example “Lisbon, Portugal”. State only what your application recorded.
- {{inviteUrl}}
- The complete HTTPS invitation URL. Both the button and the visible fallback use this value; your application creates and validates it.
- {{invitee}}
- The address the invitation was sent to, for example maya@halyard.example.
- {{inviterAvatar}}
- URL for the inviter's avatar image.
- {{inviterEmail}}
- The inviter's address, shown beside their name.
- {{inviterName}}
- The person who sent the invitation, for example “Jonas Ferreira”.
- {{teamAvatar}}
- URL for the team's avatar image.
- {{teamName}}
- The team being joined, for example “Halyard Labs”.
