- Supply the updates as a list of image, title, summary, and link, and the metrics as a list of label and value. Both render from the data, so a quiet month and a busy one share one source. Replace the Basalt wordmark and update diagrams with your own PNGs.
- The upcoming event is optional. Leave it out and the layout closes up around it; include it and it renders as a bordered block above the button, so one template covers a month with an event and a month without.
- Supply the issue month and number, headline, and intro per send. Your product owns the changelog, update, event, preferences, and unsubscribe links.
