Choose your DNS provider and follow its setup guide to add Samva’s email records, avoid common mistakes, and verify your domain.

Choose the service that manages your domain's DNS. This can differ from the company where you bought the domain or host your website. You can add Samva's records without transferring your domain or changing nameservers.

Cloudflare

Add records in DNS → Records and check proxy settings.

GoDaddy

Map Samva’s records to GoDaddy’s Name and Value fields.

Namecheap

Use Host Records for TXT and Mail Settings for MX.

Route 53

Choose a public hosted zone and format long TXT values.

Vercel

Add email records from your team’s Domains settings.

Before editing DNS

Add your domain in Samva and keep its records table open. Copy the values from that table. The DKIM key is specific to your domain, and the return-path records must use the exact name Samva gives you.

Keep existing records used by your website and inbox. The MX record for sending handles the custom return path. Receiving email has a separate setup that can change where incoming mail is delivered.

Another DNS provider

Follow Verify your sending domain and map the table's Type, Name, Value, TTL, and MX priority to your provider's form. A field called Host usually means the record name; Data, Content, and Target commonly hold its value. Confirm whether the name field appends the zone name before saving.

For an optional DMARC policy, follow email authentication. DMARC is separate from the sending records Samva generates; preserve an existing policy when configuring your domain.

If Samva offers a connection to your provider, you can use automatic DNS setup instead.
