Send WhatsApp messages via the unified API, connect a WhatsApp Business Account, get templates approved, and send.
Send WhatsApp through Samva, backed directly by the Meta Cloud API. Like email and SMS, WhatsApp sends through the same unified messages API and shares contacts, conversations, and delivery events. WhatsApp adds two rules of its own, set by Meta: you send from a connected WhatsApp Business Account (WABA), and a message outside a recipient's 24-hour service window must use a Meta-approved template.
How it works
- Connect a WhatsApp Business Account (one-time) from the dashboard through Meta's signup.
- Write templates in TSX, publish them, and submit them to Meta for approval.
- Send: a template anytime, or free-form text, media, and interactive messages inside the 24-hour service window.

Connect your number through Meta signup and manage the WABA you send from.
Onboard your customers
Send each customer a setup link that connects their number into their namespace.
Message templates
Write templates, submit them to Meta, and track their review.
Send a message
Send a template anytime, or free-form within the service window.
Interactive and media messages
Send buttons, lists, media, reactions, locations, and contacts, and receive replies.
Flows
Author a multi-screen form, register it with Meta, send it, and read the answers.
Answer in a mailbox
Read customer messages and reply from a mailbox, by person or agent.
The 24-hour service window
WhatsApp limits when you can send free-form content. When a customer messages your business, a 24-hour service window opens; inside it you can reply with free-form text. Outside the window, including the very first message you send to someone, you must use a Meta-approved template.
Samva enforces this for you: a free-form send outside the window is rejected with a clear error telling you to use a template instead. The window opens, and refreshes, only when the customer messages you; sending a template lets you reach someone outside the window but does not open it.
What a message costs
WhatsApp needs a paid plan. On Free, connecting a number and every outbound message return 402
PaymentRequiredError with resource
whatsapp. Received messages are free on every plan.
An outbound WhatsApp message carries two charges:
- Samva's fee, drawn from your plan's credits like every other send.
- Meta's fee, which Meta bills to your WhatsApp Business Account through the payment method you added during signup. Meta charges each delivered message by the recipient's country and the message type: a template by its category (marketing, utility, or authentication) and any other message at its service rate. Messages inside a free entry point window, opened when a customer reaches you from a Click to WhatsApp ad, are free.
Samva does not resell Meta's fee, but it estimates it for every message you send, from Meta's
published rates in your account's billing currency. Until Meta assigns your account a billing
currency, messages carry no estimate. Read it as
estimatedProviderCost on each delivery from GET /v1/messages/{id}/deliveries.
Meta's invoice is the final amount: volume discounts and rate changes apply there.
