Standard and Max

Pick how hard the editor's assistant works. Standard draws your plan's monthly allowance, and Max uses credits for the strongest results.

The editor's assistant works in one of two modes. Pick the mode beside the message box before you send a request. Standard is the default.

MaxThe strongest results on demanding designsYour account's credits, as the assistant works

You choose a mode for each request, so you can start in Standard and switch to Max for a hard change, or the other way round. The conversation keeps its history across the switch.

Standard

Every plan includes a monthly Standard allowance, shown on the pricing page. It resets each month, shares across the organizations on your billing account, and has no overage: when it is used up, Standard stops until it resets or you move to a larger plan.

Max

Max uses the same credits as your sends. It draws them as the assistant works, in proportion to the work, and the editor shows an estimate of the credits a conversation has used. The estimate is not a bill; your credit balance in billing settings is the figure that counts.

A request in Max needs enough credits for a typical session when you send it. With fewer, the request is refused before the assistant starts.

When a mode is unavailable

A refused request never loses what you typed, and nothing continues it in another mode behind your back.

Without an account

The editor you can try before signing up always runs in Standard. It has no mode to choose and uses no allowance or credits. Its limits are the ones the editor shows.
