A template can carry its own sender, reply-to address, and open and click tracking. You can now set all three in the editor toolbar under **Sending defaults**, without an API call.

Each tracking field is Inherit, On, or Off. Inherit shows the value it resolves to and where it comes from, such as your organization defaults.

**What you need to do.** Nothing. Defaults you already set stay as they are. Your coding agent can change the same fields with the hosted MCP tool `templates_update`, and `trackingDefault` is now accepted by the public template update.
