> Permanently delete a template or a whole template project from the API, the CLI, and the dashboard. Sent-message history is kept.

You can now permanently delete a template, or a whole template project, instead of leaving it behind.

`DELETE /v1/templates/{id}` removes a template with its publications, input contracts, and preview images, and frees its handle. `DELETE /v1/templates/projects/{id}` removes a project with every template in it, plus its repository and editor workspace. Messages you already sent keep their history.

If anything still uses the template, such as a campaign, journey, topic, newsletter, or scheduled message, the API answers `409` with a `TemplateInUseError` that lists each blocking item by `kind` and `id`. Detach them and try again.

**What you need to do.** The operation behind `DELETE /v1/templates/{id}` is now named `delete`, so SDK callers that used `templates.remove` switch to `templates.delete`. `isActive` is gone from templates: there is no deactivate step, and a template either exists or it does not.

From the CLI, run `samva templates delete <id> --dry-run` to preview and `--yes` to confirm, or `samva templates projects delete <id>` for a project. In the dashboard, use **Delete** on a template card, or **Delete project** on a project card and type its name to confirm.
